Srinath Srinivasan

I am a PhD student at North Carolina State University Raleigh. I work with Dr. Tim Menzies on Efficient ML & AI for Software Engineering tasks. During my masters’ at NC State, I worked with Dr. Jiajia Li on accelerating compressed/tensorized transformers. Wtih the help of libraries such as cuTensor we are able to improve per layer training and inference performance by 10%.

I was previously a Software Engineer at Poshmark where I led efforts to port several of their legacy MVC Objective-C code to the Swift/SwiftUI MVVM paradigm. We redesigned several screens from scratch including the creation of an efficient pagination algorithm for some screens with heavy scroll cases.

During my undergrad, I worked at the Thermodynamics and Combustion Engineering Laboratory at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras on complex-valued regression to localize and reconstruct acoustic signals. At Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and AI I worked on data science projects for NPTEL & 108 Ambulance service TN. I also interned at Navis and Renault.
